    The Campaign for Change is hosting a FREE Community Picnic from 2pm until 4pm, Sunday September 21, in the pavilion at McMillen Park. The public can expect free food for the first hour, free Obama merchandise (while supplies last), face painting, coloring for kids and a group canvass.
     
    All ages are welcome.
     
    The Campaign for Change has planned this event as an outreach to supporters and undecided individuals who want to learn more about Sen. Barack Obama and his running mate Joe Biden, as well as the other Democratic candidates running for office in Indiana. The deadline to register to vote is October 6th, so this is also an opportunity for those who wish to register to vote to attend.

    - The Luncheon Club meets the 4th Wednesday of every month (except December) at 11:30 AM.  The meeting place is the American Legion Post 82 at Goshen and Harris Roads.  Yearly dues are $5, plus the cost of your lunch, tip, taxes.  For information call (260) 422-8572.

    Third District Democratic Breakfast Club - For those interested in what is going on in the Third Congressional District.  Meetings are the 4th Saturday of the month.  Meetings are held at Brevin's Restaurant, 200 S. Main Street, Churubusco.  It is important that your RSVP to 3rd District Treasurer Randy Schmidt (260-432-8215).  Cost is $5; you will be responsible for your breakfast, tip, taxes.

There is limited  seating so please plan on getting your tickets early.   You can get them at ACDP HQ 1920 Bluffton Road during regular hours--phone 478-8239.  You can also get them from a party volunteer or committee member--Sandy Kennedy, Deb Morrone, Mike Bynum, Phil GiaQuinta, Gina Kostoff, Patty Stahlhut to  name a few.

The dinner will be served in an elegantly decorated setting at the Plumbers and Steamfitters Hall, 22930 Ludwig Road.

Wine Reception at 6:00 and Dinner at 7:15-Entertainment following dinner.

    Breakfast Club-
    Monthly meeting at our HQ.  Coffee and Doughnuts at 8:30am- meeting starts at 9am.  Please bring a non-perishable food item for donation to a local food bank.
